Barry strike sinks woeful Newcastle as Ramsey sees red
Thierno Barry's second-half goal gave Everton their first away league win of the season as Newcastle were booed off and finished the game with ten men.

Everton secured their first away Premier League win of the campaign with a 1-0 victory over Newcastle United at St James' Park, a Thierno Barry goal seven minutes into the second half proving enough to settle the contest.
David Moyes's side were full value for the win, according to Sky Sports Football, against a Newcastle team that was jeered by its own supporters both at half-time and at the final whistle.
Barry's finish in the 49th minute put Everton ahead and the visitors were rarely troubled thereafter, holding firm even as Newcastle searched for an equaliser in the closing stages.
Jordan Pickford was not seriously tested until deep into the second half. Newcastle's first shot on target of the evening did not arrive until the 85th minute, a measure of how little threat Matthias Jaissle's attack posed for long periods.
Anthony Elanga did strike the post with an effort in the second half, and substitute Yoane Wissa forced a save from Pickford late on, but Everton's defence otherwise kept the hosts at arm's length.
Newcastle's night deteriorated further when substitute Jacob Ramsey was sent off in stoppage time. He was booked for a foul in the sixth minute of added time, then shown a second yellow card just 86 seconds later, with the dismissal confirmed in the 98th minute.
Ramsey had been introduced from the bench in search of a way back into the match but instead became the focus of attention for the wrong reasons. He has since apologised to Newcastle supporters for the dismissal, Yahoo Sports reported.
The result means Newcastle have now lost back-to-back matches against Everton, having also been beaten 3-1 by Moyes's side in the Carabao Cup fourth round just four days earlier.
Newcastle sit 13th in the Premier League table after the defeat, with scrutiny intensifying on Jaissle as performances continue to fall short of expectations at St James' Park.
Everton, by contrast, look increasingly settled under Moyes without needing to rely on Jack Grealish, who was absent from the matchday squad; on this evidence, according to Guardian Football, he may find regaining his starting place a challenge whenever he is available again.
Attention for Newcastle now turns to resolving the disciplinary and attacking issues exposed by the defeat, with Jaissle needing greater composure from his squad as the club looks to arrest a damaging run of results.
